Where the
loom lives
Ecru is rooted in Village Dhela, Jim Corbett National Park where the Himalayan foothills meet the plains of Uttarakhand. The name comes from the French textile trade word for the natural unbleached colour of raw cotton. We are that colour. Honest, untouched, exactly as nature made it.
We source organic cotton from GOTS certified manufacturers in Gujarat. Every piece is handstitched in our Kumaon workshop by women from surrounding villages. All dyeing uses plant extracts Manjistha (Indian Madder root) for terracotta, Indigo for blue, Himalayan botanicals throughout.
We work directly with wholesale buyers, hotel chains and brands globally no agents, no middlemen. Private label and custom orders welcome.
